News / I have been clean and sober since December 13, 2005
This is kind of old news now, but I keep it up here so I never forget!!

What’s up yawl? It’s been a long time since this site has been updated and I apologize. Many things have happened in the past year and frankly, I’m just glad it’s over. After a decade plus of partying, I checked myself into a rehabilitation center on December 13, 2005, and decided it was time for my life to change before I killed myself or someone else. I am airing this personal info in hopes that someone else may find that they are not alone in their pain from addiction. There is hope, and you can find a path to recovery. I drank and used so much over the years that my body had started to shut down, as well as my personal and professional life. My addiction has caused me the loss of friends, money, gigs, and worst of all put my family through a lot of pain. I am so grateful today for my sobriety because it allows me to live free to create music and to make amends to the people I have hurt in my path of destruction. With that said, it could have been a lot worse. I’m not dead or in jail, and I’m still young. I want to thank my higher power for giving me a second chance at life.
If you are someone struggling with an addiction and have a desire to quit, feel free to contact me. I might be able to point you in the direction of some programs that work. They are working for me.
